I, Joni, just receive the following message as an update to my posting above:

    Hi,

I am the Director of The Voice of the Horse Project at Tapestry Institute. I’d like to thank you for posting about our Voice of the Horse Conference this summer. I’d also like to let you know about two changes. First, the online price is $35, not $40. It was going to increase after June 1, but another change to the conference allowed us to keep it at $35.

That change, which is the second reason I’m writing to you, is that the conference has been extended to give everyone more time to explore and participate! The live onsite event will still take place on June 30 and July 1, 2007, at Iowa State University, with a live feed available online during the conference.

But now, in addition, the conference will be available via streaming webcast from June 30 all the way to August 31, 2007. For only $35, participants can watch conference presentations, hear and see the acoustic ‘Horse Legends’ concert by Michael Martin Murphey (’Wildfire’), explore the online art exhibit, and share their own stories of the horse-human relationship as many times as they like and at the times most convenient for them.

Be aware, though, that if they want their stories to be considered for inclusion in the panel discussion they have to participate in the live webcast on June 30 and July 1.

Stories shared in the discussion forum after that date may be selected for inclusion (with permission) in a conference book, but won’t be on the forum in time for conference presenters to read them before the panel meets at the end of the live conference event. For more information, visit the official conference website at http://www.thevoiceofthehorse.com .

    Thanks!
