Wonderfully neat kinetic paper sculpture of a horse

I saw this video of horse art posted on EquineTeleseminar blog and really enjoyed it so I posting it here too.

Love the horse song that goes with this video. It is ‘Ride a White Horse’ by ‘GOLDFRAPP’. It fits well with the moving paper horse. Hey, all horses are really solar powered depending on the sun’s light to grow their food.

Apart from the motor drive and crank shaft the machine is constructed entirely from paper. Study for a solar powered kinetic sculpture inspired partly by the work of Theo Jansen.

It is amazing how creative the humane race can be and I think that it helps all of us when we are exposed to the creative endeavors of others though art, music, science, and writings. So please take time each day to be amazed by the wonders that abound in this world.
