Horse Business eZine – Equine Business Marketing Tips for the Busy Business Owner

March 2007; Issue #3 – Joni Solis, Editor, info@alove4horses.com

Maybe you took my advice and started a blog, but are still not sure about how people will find your blog. Well I just found a web page just for you…

Blogging Starter Checklist by rajesh301 http://www.squidoo.com/blogstarter/

There you will find a great list of things to do so that people can find your new weblog easier. You will also discover links to more blogging information and a list of blogging books.

Oh, do I have to remind you about why you want to start a blog in the first place? In one word – traffic!

As a business person you need customers. No one is going to buy from you if they don’t even know you exist. Search engines love active blogs and they will point people to your site. And the more people finding you and what your offer will lead to more sales and income.

Many horse businesses don’t even have a basic website, which is a huge mistake. And if you do have a web site adding a blog will help even more people discover your site (when you link back to your website). If you don’t have the time and money to start a website at least start a free blog and let people know about your horse business.

Since your blog allows comments to be posted by your site visitors you will also receive feedback on your posts. This is a great way to discover what your potential customers think and it allows you to adjust your business plan to server your clients better.

You might want to reread my article: Five good reasons why you should start a blog

— end of article —

Learn to Market your Equestrian Business Better…
