Horse Breeder Opposes Nation Animal Identification
I just found a web page on a horse breeder’s website that points out more scary points about the NAIS and if you have anything to do with horses I think you should go read this page on the Pharaoh’s Horses site.
They spell out five great points about why the National Animal Identification System is not a good deal. They also have a list of six links where you can go to find out more info.
Words like, monstrous, mandatory, forced, unacceptable, governmental intrusion, and urban legend are used in their report and for good reason. The NAIS is something that all horse people need to understand and take action on now.

And yes this is very scary and we all need to work together and stop it.
Do we need to write our congressmen or senators? Or what can we do? I think we need to get some organized resistance going. I know this is a bad, bad thing for breeders and horse owners a like. Not to mention, Big Brother, is motion here – every single horse recorded and tracked every minute of every day. Very scary!
