Michael Landis contacted me way back in 2003 about designing a logo for his horse training business, Magic Touch Training Center. Working together this horse logo design was born…

Over the years I have had a few people contact me wanting to purchase this logo design. This was a custom logo design created specially for Michael’s horse business and he now owns the copyright to it.

A Horse business with Ethics

Michael Landis is a wonderful caring person with business ethics. He has the following statement on his site…

…Here at Magic Touch Training Center we believe that our horses are our best friends -and that we would rather have a usable companion for many years to come rather than one that is only usable for a few years. Our personal preference would be not to start a horse in performance training until they are four years old or older – as the extra year of patience will set your horse up for more years of success.

When I read that I sent him a note thanking him for putting the horses first and having integrity and he wrote back saying…

“Thanks. I defiantly think it is all about the horses not the money because
if I did it for money I would have been out a long time ago.”

I truly wished that every horse business would consider what is best for the horses first and the business second. It would make their lives and the horses lives so much better and may even help their business in the long run. Do what is right and do good for all. More money does not guarantee you a happier life if deep down you know that you are not doing what is best for the horses and your clients.
