I FOUND THE BIGGEST HEART IN MY MAN. HE SENT ME THIS POEM TODAY AND IT REALLY MADE MY DAY.HE OF COURSE HAS A LOVE FOR HORSES AND I NEVER HAVE HAD THE PLEASURE OF BEING AROUND THEM.I DO KNOW THROUGH THE EYES AND HEART OF A HORSE THAT ONCE LOVED HIM,HE IS THE MAN HE IS TODAY.THANK GOD FOR HORSES AND THANK GOD FOR GIVING ME THE LOVE OF MY LIFE.

I did a search for this poem because Ray Hunt used to recite it at his clinics, and I miss hearing the poem and hearing Ray. RIP Ray, and I hope the horses in Heaven enjoy you as much as ours did hear on earth.

This brought a tear to my eyes…what a wonderful poem…it is true, a horse with heart, will take you where most will not go. A horse with heart will do anything for you…great poem!!

Horses with Heart – I think that says it all. You can build an excellent rapport with horses with heart. I have been told that horses do not love people but I totally disagree. For those of you who have had that special bond with a horse you will never forget the feeling. God Bless our horses.

some horses have a very guarded heart and those are the ones i like, because you know that when you see that softness in their eye, that they trust you it feels that much better then when you have a horse who loves everyone, though those horses are also great because they love so freely, sometimes you want a horse that you know you have to work to get their true heart.

“Horse with Heart”
I cannot imagine finding a horse without first finding it’s heart. That’s what drew us in with both of our fine gentlemen. If anyone can honestly say they don’t feel that yank when they look into the eyes of a horse’s beautiful soul, then they are just cold. Those hearts are what make me trust them, love them, and miss them when they are gone from us.
