Wow what a great informative blog. I really like the topics covered. If you would like to visit my blogs as well please visit www.horsegalore.com We recently added a new translation feature to our site which is totally cool for those who are not affluent in English. I love horse blogs as I am learning new things every day from them.

Renee of Encyclopaedia Equestria sent me the following message...

What a lovely write-up about Encyclopaedia Equestria! That was so sweet. I love writing and love horses and now I can combine them. I am an advisor on another brilliant site (www.horsejunction.co.za) which I rekon to be the best Equine Site we have here in South Africa.

How the blog happened was that I was looking for a place to store all of my articles and Advice because every time I changed PC's, or my server blew or I changed jobs, I lost most of the information. So really, it started a month or two ago really just as a place to store information. My boss suggested that I should make it available for everyone out there, and so there you go. What you see now is the fruits of his suggestion!

I really am passionate about rider education. My pupils used to really tease me about it, but I used to give them written homework in addition to their regular lessons.

I was amazed to see how many people out there owned horses but did not even know something as simple as what the regular temperature of the horse should be! If you are taking responsibility to care for a living being as wondrous as a horse, then I feel you should be responsible for educating yourself to do it properly!

Also, I feel that if someone has worked up the courage to write to a website to ask for help, then you owe it to them to give them a proper, well researched answer that they would not have been able to think out themselves! Unfortunately, it is true that there are more and more 'standard' answers for problems and often advisors will churn them out without taking time to think about the problem!

Anyway, just wanted to say thanks! As you can tell, once I get going, I can type up a bloody book!

I try to add articles and other interesting things regularly, so keep checking for more!
