Over the years I have had a few people contact me wanting to purchase this logo design. This was a custom logo design created specially for Michael’s horse business and he now owns the copyright to it.

A Horse business with Ethics

Michael Landis is a wonderful caring person with business ethics. He has the following statement on his site…

…Here at Magic Touch Training Center we believe that our horses are our best friends -and that we would rather have a usable companion for many years to come rather than one that is only usable for a few years. Our personal preference would be not to start a horse in performance training until they are four years old or older – as the extra year of patience will set your horse up for more years of success.

When I read that I sent him a note thanking him for putting the horses first and having integrity and he wrote back saying…

“Thanks. I defiantly think it is all about the horses not the money because
if I did it for money I would have been out a long time ago.”

I truly wished that every horse business would consider what is best for the horses first and the business second. It would make their lives and the horses lives so much better and may even help their business in the long run. Do what is right and do good for all. More money does not guarantee you a happier life if deep down you know that you are not doing what is best for the horses and your clients.

Custom Horse Logos for Horse Businesses

You don’t have to have a horse related business to use horse images in your company logo.

The horse is a powerful symbol that represents a wide range of ideas – strength, performance, power, speed, beauty, grace, the wild west, free spirit, wealth, wishes, dreams, etc…

It is desirable to have these positive feelings evoked by a logo icon and the form of a horse just seems to be very attractive to us humans. So a horse graphic in business logo helps link your company’s image with these good qualities.

I have been contacted by companies desiring an equine graphic in their logo design and their business aren’t related to horses. Here are a few of the logo designs I have created…

One company, 3D Custom Foam, creates sculptures and felt that a Pegasus horse would show that his company was creative and fanciful, a CPA chose a mare and foal because to her they represented a loving and caring company, Saddle Creek Custom Homes wanted a jumping horse to show that you could have a beauty and elegant house, and another is a Kentucky company that refurbishes homes and buildings and wanted a horse to symbolize the speed and performance of a thoroughbred.

I just checked out a blog posting, Iconic fashion logos, and two of the logo designs shown incorporate a horse graphic and one has a modified horseshoe image. Dark Horse Comics also has a horse image in their logo design which has changed over the years. The Golden Horse Casino Hotel of South Africa has a horse image on their logo and on their building too.
