Horse Blogs A Large List

Horse Blogs

I discovered a gold mine of Horse Blogs

If you read my post “Five good reasons why you should start a blog” I gave you a few reasons for starting a blog for your horse business. You may have thought, “Hey that sounds like a good idea, but where to start, what to write about, and how do I pick out my blog categories”?

Well I think that the first step should be to check out and read some postings at a few horse blogs that relate to whatever you are passionate about with horses.

I did a some quick Internet surfing and found this wonderfully large and varied Horse Blogs List at the Bridlepath blog. Doris gave me permission to repost her huge list here. And I have added to it too. She also would love if you’d check out her equestrian blog too.

Note that some of these links below will open in a new browser window.

Clifford is the star of the true horse story, “Clifford of Drummond Island” and the sequel, “Return to Manitou.” What started out as bloglike ramblings became a book, so never underestimate the power of the written word!”Great horse books and loved her dog ebook too.” – Joni Solis

    1. Thank you Sam for visiting my site and leaving a link to your horse blog. I visited your site and read a couple of your posts and smiled. Thank you!

  1. Hi Thank you for this extensive list – we’ve just bought a horse and it’s wonderful to have a great page to return to. It’s been a bumpy ride so far and I’m finding it difficult to keep up with all the costs involved. So in an effort to try and get funding together to reseed and deworm and rehabilitate our paddock, a friend suggested I start a funding project. Please can I ask that you include it as a link on your blog for horse-loving-people to access ? Greatly appreciated and keep up the great work!

    Thanks

  11. Just wondering if I could add a blog called

It is an hilarious account of a foals first year of life.
Through the eyes and ears of a pretentious little french accented existentialist foal, this is more fun than a bag of chaff….

  12. Hi, I just started a new blog about my adventures as a single woman trying to manage a horse farm and sanctuary on very limited resources! I have had many adventures and met some wonderful horses and people along the way. I hope you will check out my blog and consider adding it to your list! Thank you!

  13. Any way you could add my blog to the list? It’s just a general horse blog, although a fair portion of the posts relate to horse color genetics. 🙂 Take a look and tell me what you think, please!

  14. Horse riding lovers are keep increasing in many US states. This is the right collection for those people to know more about horses by reading different horse blogs. I know how difficult it is to collect the several lists. Congrats that you have done a great job.

  16. Hello,
My name is Chad. My daughter Bailey has this amazing passion for horses and has been taking riding lessons from an amazing friend of my wife and I. We are “city folk” per say but not Bailey! She is country at heart. She has an undying passion and love for animals, especially horses. She is very interested in pursuing Vetrinary medicine. It is awesome to see her get around the horses, it’s like you flipped a switch and a new person has arrived, smiles from ear to ear. I encouraged her to start a blog to talk about her experiences and to share her passion with other people. She has done that but is a little discouraged because she doesnt have a lot of traffic. I was just wondering if you would be willing to list her blog on your page. It would just be great for her. Thanks for your time.

    1. Chad, thank you for stopping by my blog. I checked out your daughter’s blog. I think the problem is that she is not posting often enough and it really helps to add some photos to the post. Wishing her the best with her horse riding lesson and her blogging.

  21. If you want to own dressage horses then you are going to need dressage horse trainers. The reason for this is that there are so many different parts of the dressage horse trainers art that the rider and horse must master and be aware of.

Am glad you brought this to my attention.
